Vintage 2014

The Merlot grapes were harvested on the 9th, 10th and 14th October, the Cabernet Francs, the 14th and the 17th October. Fermentation in small, temperature controlled stainless steel vats; malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aging for 12-16 months in French oak barrels, 50% used for one wine. Approximately 6,000 bottles of L’IF 2014 were produced.

We are pleasantly surprised by the bright colour, the freshness and the purity of the young wine which since the beginning had juicy aromas of red fruit and was delicious, lively and attractive with a pretty structure. Final blend: 91% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc
